The Industry

Every other account is a trainer, an influencer or someone showing off their body to sell one supplement or another. So the question stands, who am I, and why would you listen to me?
First things first, lets cover what I am not. I am not a trainer, a doctor, a nutritionist, or an influencer. I am however a fitness enthusiasts that has done just about everything wrong you can, and by trail and error learned the “right” way to do things. In addition to learning things the hard way, I have also managed to break quite a few different parts of my body in my younger years and have had to learn how to train around various injuries to prevent pain, keep myself moving and growing.
So, why might you listen to me? I am a 30 year old natural male athlete. Everything I post or share online is something I have done myself. I would not share, or ask anything of anyone that I have not done myself. I would also like to call out that everything here is free, I am not charging for information and I am not endorsed. Everything here is information aimed to demystify fitness, and help prevent folks make the same mistakes I have along the way.
So, why might you not listen to me? Well, as I said, I am not a doctor or a trainer. I have no formal training. Which begs the questions…
If you are not a trainer, why would I trust you know how to lift? I have plaid football, power-lifting, tack and body building. I have learned how lift weights because I have plaid the sports that demand it.
If you are not a doctor, why would I trust you know how to train around injuries? I know how to train around a broken body, because simply put, I live in one. I have had an occipital nerve decompression for migraines, a AC joint seperation in my left shoulder, a brachial plexus crush injury on my left side, a destroyed L5/S1 disk, damaged ankles, a crushed knee complements of an ATV, and a jaw I have blown apart. I know how to train around injuries, because I collect them.
